Hello/Akwaaba!

We had our first meeting with the students today. Lyle came in with his publisher Greg Miller visiting from New York, and they spoke to the students about publishing in the art world. They also got a lot of feedback on what sights to see while in Ghana! A great exchange on both ends...
The students copied the questions of the first assignment off the blackboard then split up into groups of six with our latest most excellent coordinators, Kristy, Barbara, Sabrina and Krista. The disposable cameras were handed out, and the first shot of each roll is of the camera's owner so we'll be able to identify each person's photos once we process them. Lyle also brought some books on photography for the students to look at. We had a little mishap with the headmistress who hadn't been notified of the project, but now everyone is in the loop and with the support of the school we're in full swing!
